I wanted to do something new for New Year’s Day. Something I haven’t tried before. Something to help me start the year off right with ambitions and goals. Something that inspired me and brought hope into the new year. Have you guessed it already?!?
Drum roll, please…. A Vision Board. My original idea was for both my husband and I to do one, but…. he had no interest. Oh well. I like mine and I enjoyed doing it. And he had other things to do, like install my super awesome new bathroom fan. I wanted to concentrate on specific areas: Relationships, Career, Goals, Travel, and Health. As I was looking for examples, I found that people concentrating on all sorts of categories. Debt, Wisdom, Inspiring People, Your Word for the Year, Self-Care, Fitness, Education, Just for Fun, Talents, Needs, Wants, Hobbies, New Habits, Romance, Minimalizing, Bucket List. You get the idea! It’s about you and what you want. I love to look at my vision board. One of my heath goals is to eat a salad for a meal every day. Well…killing it so far! (Day 2) lol! I just want to be very clear here!! It does NOT have to be New Year’s Day to make a vision board. It can be anytime that you can have a chunk of time to think about what is important to you. You can collect ideas for awhile (I did!). I really hope that you decide to do it! And let me know if it inspired you!
